Cross-country skiing & skating
14 km of high-altitude trails on the Hochtannberg Pass
For cross-country skiing and skating enthusiasts, Warth-Schröcken offers the ideal terrain. The high-altitude trails on the Hochtannberg Pass are particularly known for their optimal training conditions. Located at almost 1,700 metres above sea level and in a very sunny location, they offer perfectly groomed trails for a successful day of cross-country skiing.
Cross-country skiing invigorates the body and is considered one of the most health-promoting winter sports. It uses almost all muscle groups and strengthens the cardiovascular system at the same time. This effect is further enhanced if you do your training at over 1,000 meters.
On track from lake to lake
The high-altitude trails extend from 1,600 to 1,700 metres and thus offer an ideal starting point for your altitude training. Four circuits with a total length of approx. 14 kilometres lead from the Hotel Jägeralpe to the Körbersee and offer cross-country trails for all levels of difficulty.
The tours lead along the Hochtannberg Pass and through a unique natural landscape with gentle slopes and breathtaking mountain peaks. Please note the current status of the trails for optimal conditions.
